A welfare organisation, with 112 branches in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and North West, that focuses on general child and family services.
Their Wolanani HIV and AIDS training programme is being rolled out in all the provincial branches. ACVV's Wolanani HIV and AIDS programme is currently rolled out in four of the nine provinces including the Western Cape, the Eastern Cape, the Northern Cape and the North West.
This programme focuses on education programmes for the whole community from pre-school children to the elderly. Puppet shows and a recently completed DVD in Afrikaans and isiXhosa focusses on increasing awareness for both caregiviers and pre-school children.
