Lily of the Valley is a Children's Home providing care, love and support to children abandoned or orphaned due to parental AIDS suffering.

The Lily of the Valley children's home in Kwazulu Natal is situated on a 59 acre farm in Eston, near Pietermaritzburg. It is a Government registered children's home, the children are admitted from various child welfare organisations with a court order from the Children's Court. It is a non-profit institution of a public and permanent nature.

23 self-contained three-bedroomed cottages with fitted kitchens, bathrooms and lounges have been built on the property. 

A full time house mother looks after six children in each house and fulfils the role of a real mother in her care-cooking, cleaning, helping with homework and giving the comfort and affection all children need in order to thrive. This system has worked well. This low mother to child ratio means that the children get quality parenting in a healthy family environment.
